Let’s play, build and discover through engineering. These hands on classes are meant to inspire creative thinking and problem solving skills. We will use recycled materials and a lot of ingenuity as we challenge ourselves to awaken our curiosity about the world around us.
In this 6 week Session children will explore the Following topics and more.
• Pop Fly Challenge
• Kaleidoscope creation
• Marble Run challenge
• String Puppets
• Geo-Board (they’ll make their own)
• Indoor sling shot

Taught by Holly Jett
Holly Jett has been working as a children’s educator since 2003 for Something Good in the World, Inc. She has also created and been running after school workshops in the areas of science, sewing and farm-based crafts for children. She has been an instructor and advocate for Handwriting Without Tears for the last five years and worked as a Turtle Island Summer Camp educator since 2009. Holly graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors in Arts and Science and attended FIT in NYC where she received a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She had her own hand-made children’s clothing company called “Nolly” Designs and teaches sewing at Groovy on Grand in Croton on Hudson.
