Description
Highest Quality of Food and Specialty items in the New York Tri-State area. Specialty, Organic, Quality produce, custom cut meats, on premise roasted coffee, 600 cheeses and the best olive oil bar on the planet. With 14 amazing locations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, we're thrilled to announce that our 15th location in Lake Grove, NY is opening this spring!

We feel it’s fair to say that we arrived in Connecticut with a bang. And in usual Fairway style, we are the pioneering retail establishment in an up-and-coming neighborhood – the Harbor Point area of Stamford. Our first store in Connecticut created a lot of positive buzz, so we knew it was the right place at the right time. This is only our second store opening outside of New York State, but we gave Fairfield County our largest by far – nearly 85,000 wonderful square feet of pure gastronomic joy. It truly is an amusement park of food.

Pelham Manor is where we really went big. By this time, Westchester County had waited in anticipation and with nothing short of great expectations. The store opening had people lined up along the entire length of the store and law enforcement had to close down the Hutchinson River Parkway at our exit. Needless to say, we were big news. Our Pelham Manor store brought 75,000 square feet of gastronomical greatness to Westchester County.

The store location holds a special significance as Howie Glickberg, Fairway CEO and third generation in the founding family of Fairway, has lived in Westchester County with his family for over 20 years. To be able to provide jobs for over 400 local residents was an opportunity he was thrilled to take advantage of. He and Charles Santoro, Fairway’s Chairman and managing partner and cofounder of Sterling Investment Partners, knew the community would embrace the arrival of our store. Many customers who had lived or work in Manhattan were already life-long Fairway goers, and they shared in the excitement of us arriving to their home town.

Pelham Manor offers all the superb foodstuffs that made Fairway an icon and a staple in the lives of thousands of people. With the large space we were able to expand our departments, have wider aisles, and host larger demos and events than in our city stores. As you walk in, open your eyes to the sea of daily-delivered produce, even fresh-cut fruits and vegetables for your convenience. Loop your way around to a wall of Fairway label dried fruits and nuts, our famous cheese counter with over 600 varieties of artisanal cheeses, and then head to our meat and seafood counters. At our meat counter you will find that we dry-age our beef in-house and all our meat is USDA certified. Ask the butcher behind the counter to custom-cut anything to your liking. At our seafood department, find the greatest selection of fresh fish, delivered same-day from the docks seven days a week. Living or dabbling in the natural and organic lifestyle? We have you covered, literally, with everything your heart desires from organic and natural foods to health and beauty aids.

Head towards the expansive grocery aisles and on your way watch your coffee beans being roasted right in front of your eyes. Stop at the café for a breakfast, lunch or dinner break - with seating for over 60, you’re bound to find a nice spot to relax and enjoy a freshly-prepared meal. Choose from an array of soups, custom-made chopped salads, sandwiches, pizzas, Panini, sushi, quesadillas, and more.
