In this fun class, students create artwork around the concept of opposites. Investigating how different forms & ideas play off each other. This class helps develop problem solving skills, creativity & out of the box thinking.

Hard and soft, big and small, simple and complicated, straight and curvy, in this fun class, students will create artwork around the concept of opposites. We'll investigate how different forms and ideas play off each other in a single work of art or in a series. Projects will include: painting to fast and slow music, creating abstract collages with two opposing elements, sculpting clay worlds and drawing self portraits. This is class will help students develop problem solving skills, creativity and out of the box thinking.
