This class is for families who have prior experience with signing with babies.

Do you ever get frustrated or worried when your baby or young child cries and can’t tell you why? Imagine your baby being able to ask you a question or start a conversation (without words!) about something that interests him or her. Would you enjoy being able to communicate with your older child (or spouse!) across a crowded or noisy room?
Parents and caregivers will learn American Sign Language signs to communicate with their child using fun activities, songs, and materials. Handouts will be provided to each participant. Signs learned will be relevant to meal and snacktime, play time, aggression intervention, family, transitions, toileting, health and safety, animals and nature.
Six-week session, CD of signable songs is provided as part of the course. Other materials for use at home may be borrowed from the presenter’s library.
