Have your child boost and increase their imagination, creativity and thirst for self accomplishment with a puppet making class. Your child will learn to create a character from a story, design and construct a puppet and bring their creation to life!

6 Weeks – Cost $150 (Materials included)

Come have your child boost and increase their imagination, creativity and thirst for self accomplishment with a puppet making class. Your child will learn how to create a character from a story, design and construct a puppet and bring their creation to life! The children will be encouraged to practice life developing skills such as; peer relations, social skills, collaborating, sharing, turn taking, expressive language skills, decision making and listening to one another. And finally, have fun. This class is also appropriate for children with special needs. It is being taught by an art therapist.

Taught By Diane Metviner, Art Therapist

Diane Metviner is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Board Certified and Registered Art Therapist with over 10 years of experience facilitating art classes for typical and non typical learners toddlers- elementary aged children. Diane believes that exploring the world through the creative art process aids in the development of every day life skills and some include, active listening to others, sharing, imagination, decision making, expressive language skills as well as sensory/tactile explorations. And the most important thing about doing art is having fun.
