November 7: Assemblage Fun!
Create your own original assemblage art using a variety of everyday objects, mementos, tchotchkes, and mixed-media materials.
November 10: Monster Mix Up
Based on the Surrealist game Exquisite Corpse where artists draw part of an image, conceal it and pass it to the next artist to add to, we will draw our own series of monsters and then assemble them in to a flip book.
November 24: Found Object Self Portrait
Objects tell the story of you! Construct a 3-D assemblage using 3-5 objects that you identify with. Bring along at least 2 small items to include in this project and KMA will have lots more on hand.
December 26: Bedazzled Assemblage
An amazing assortment of shiny, sparkly, and reflective materials will be on hand to create unique works of art that bedazzle and shine.
December 27: Mixed Media Portrait
Identify objects and symbols that represent you, construct them with paper and other materials, and collage them into an original self-portrait.
December 28: Wearable Art
Create wrist bands, masks, head pieces, or other wearable art forms designed with decorative materials and collected objects.
December 29: Mini Assemblage
Have fun creating your own original miniature assemblage using small everyday objects and found materials.
