Hudson Beach Glass will present “Walks of Life”, ceramic sculptures by George B. Davison, curated by Barbara Galazzo. What is it that we hold dear to us? Reliving, rewinding, and dreaming are all ways in which the human mind and heart deal with precious memories. In the exhibit “Walks of Life” Davison explores the body language of embracing the past, present and future. He employs the use of iconic, historic and symbolic imagery to set the stage for ancient figures, vignettes and installations. He uses thrown and altered forms to bridge the gap between the past and present, to awaken genetic memory, and invoke the deja vous.
The Exhibit will be on View March 10, 2018 through April 7, 2018, with an opening reception on Second Saturday, March 10th, 6-9 pm. Free to the public. Hudson Beach Glass is located at 162 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508. Gallery hours are 10-6 daily and 11-6 on Sundays.
