Into The Woods takes everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless yet relevant piece, and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.

*Act I is made up of customary fairy tales, runs a little over an hour and ends with the time-honored conclusions of well-known stories. It's also the traditional end of the "Junior" version. Act II deals with what happens after "Happily Ever After", and has much more mature themes. For very young audience members, we think the first act alone makes for a very good visit to the theater!
Please note that the stories in the show are based on the Brothers Grimm, not Disney. For instance, children get eaten by wolves, and birds punish wicked stepsisters. In Act I these scenes are played comedically, not realistically.
This Tony and Drama Desk Awarded musical has received accolades all over the world, and was recently made into a major motion picture!
