After School Club for Kids (IN-PERSON)

Our NEW After School Club for Kids is offered Mondays-Fridays 4pm-6pm ( Jan-April 2021)

Held LIVE in-person in our studio location in Dumbo

Our After School Club for Kids is the perfect way to stay engaged & inspired and chase those winter blues away! Perfect for young artists who show a keen interest in the visual arts & want to spend more time working on their art, or for children who are eager to explore a variety of different media! Kids get to work on different projects & themes that will include but not limited to: Drawing, Painting, Mixed media, Found Object Art Cartooning, Anime, Manga & more! Young artists learn professional skills & techniques that can be applied to further artistic endeavors. Our Instructors are professional artists working in the industry and our studio space is warm and nonjudgemental. We work personally with every child to help them achieve their goals and nurture their unique talent and personalities. Curiosity is healthy, we welcome bright thinkers & explorers who welcome a challenge! Please note, our After School Club will dip into different media that we cover in our regular class courses, so it’s also a perfect taster option for Kids showing interest in Art who want to explore those options before signing up for a class.

Please note during the ongoing crisis, anyone attending an in-person Class, Camp, or any other activity or event held at our studio must adhere to CDC & NY Safety guidelines.

• The wearing of Masks is mandatory to cover nose & mouth at all times during the session. 
• Masks should not be removed at any time during your camp session until outside of the studio. 
• Social distancing must be maintained at all times with a distance of 6 feet apart as recommended by NY State.
• Any parent or guardian dropping off or picking up,must be kept to a minimum of one per student & to remain outside, as we limit our traffic in our studio. This is for everyone’s safety.
• Any parent or guardian who insists on entering at drop off or pick up must wear a mask immediately upon entering our studio which covers nose & mouth and may not remove this mask until back outside the studio.
  
• If dropping off or picking up please do not bring any other colleagues or children/ siblings into our studio who are not attending our classes and have not signed a waiver.
• If you insist on attending with a minor child or you are sending a guardian/ nanny etc in your place, please note only one person is allowed to attend, no other children including siblings unless they are registered for camp
• If you are sending your nanny, guardian caregiver in your place, you must agree certify on the waiver form at time of registration.
• All adults attending must adhere to the same safety guidelines and restrictions we expect from our minor students. 
• Please do not bring any non-essential items to camp like soft toys or extra clothing, bicycles or scooters.
• If you insist on bringing a toy to our studio, please do not share it with any other student.
• If you are bringing snacks or drinks please do not share these with any other students or staff.
• Please be familiar with the safety guidelines prior to attending as outlined HERE
• These safety guidelines are put in place to protect our students and our staff. For anyone uncomfortable with these safety guidelines or who does not wish to cooperate we suggest signing up for our online programming. We offer online classes 7 days a week.
