Please join us for this 6week class series beginning on Tuesday, April 14 through May 19. Please note: This class will be taught ONLINE using Zoom, which is a very user-friendly platform to facilitate video classes from your computer. Students will receive login instructions from the instructor prior to the class date. We will maintain the same high caliber of course and instruction with the same emphasis on keeping class sizes small. This creative writing workshop series is 6 Tuesdays for youth in grades 3-5.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This is a six week class that meets on Tuesdays from 4pm-5pm starting on March 17th and ending on April 28. There will be no class on April 7.

This class will serve as an energetic supplement to the traditional academic writing instruction of grammar and vocabulary development by providing a space in which young writers engage in open ended writing activities and encounter creative challenges that foster enjoyment of and enthusiasm for writing. Special focus will be given to supporting the imaginative elements of creative writing in multiple genres that foster the flexible thinking necessary for communication and problem solving across the curriculum.

Registration for this 6week class series is $150. Please register at
