Feathers and Flora Weekend

Everyone benefits from being surrounded by healthy urban ecosystems that support native plants and a wide array of birds and other wildlife. At Wave Hill’s Feathers and Flora Weekend, find out more about the local birds that live in the Bronx and the plants that sustain them. Engage with naturalists, artists, educators and other experts who will inform and enlighten us about the amazing diversity of plants and animals surrounding us. Representatives from partner organizations include the National Audubon Society, NYC Audubon, Hudson Highlands Nature Museum and the WildMetro. Visit Glyndor Gallery to explore the exhibition Avifauna: Interplay of Birds + Habitat, featuring artwork that delves into the relationship between birds and their habitats.

Most activities are free with admission to the grounds: $8 Adults; $4 Students and Seniors 65+; $2 Children 6+; Free to Members and children under 6.
Neighborhood Ecology Walk on May 20 is $20; 10% discount for Wave Hill Members. Registration required, online or onsite at the Perkins Visitor Center.
