In the performance “Pictures Come to Life,” storyteller and illustrator Jeff Hopkins will quickly draw, narrate, and act out characters’ actions and voices, working on wall-sized sheets of paper. You’re invited to interact by adding sounds, movements, and your own designs. Follow the playful and humorous adventures of “A Little Line Who Wants to Become a Drawing,” inspired by selected works in DRAW: Heat. There will be two performances, at 5:30 and 7pm.
In addition, get creative in a bilingual sketching workshop with Carolina Amarillo, explore our current exhibitions, including Throwing Shade on Extreme Heat, where Groundwork Hudson Valley team members will be onsite. Cash bar available.
