12:30 PM: New York and Rebecca Rubin themed tour of The Holocaust: What Hate Can Do for ages 13+
2:00 PM: Discussion with Jacqueline Dembar Greene, author of the Rebecca series. The discussion will be followed by a raffle and book signing.
3:30 PM: Doll-sized latke making demonstration with Chef David Teyf
Throughout the day there will be the opportunity to decorate and make your own dreidel, and get your picture taken in a Rebecca-themed photo booth.
New York and Rebecca Rubin themed tour
12:30-1:30pm, ages 13+
Please join Rebecca Frank, a member of the Museum’s curatorial team for our core exhibition The Holocaust: What Hate Can Do, for a special New York- and Rebecca Rubin-themed tour of the exhibition. Rebecca will point out objects related to Rebecca’s story ranging from NYC tenement stories to toys children had with them during the Holocaust. Visitors will also get an overview of the entire exhibition which tells the history of Jewish life before, during, and immediately after the Holocaust through personal stories.
