Our Digital Camps Take Place From December 27th-30th.
DIGITAL MANGA CHARACTERS – WINTER CAMP - Grades 6-12
Students will discover how to illustrate with Adobe Photoshop, through advanced lighting and filter effects, in order to produce a manga-inspired hero or villain, with supernatural abilities.
DIGITAL COMICS – WINTER CAMP - Grades 3-5
Students in this camp will discover the essential skills of digital character design by creating an illustration which includes a deep investigation into a character’s personality, physical features and views from multiple angles.
LEARN TO DRAW: WILDLIFE – WINTER CAMP - Grades 3-5
Students will study various animal anatomies to help them create accurate, proportionate and to scale drawings of their favorite animals with graphite and pastels.
DRAGON SCULPTING – WINTER CAMP - Grades 3-5
Fire-breather? Super-strength? Fast-swimmer? Good fortune? Mind-reader? What is the special power of your dragon creation? Explore wings, fangs, scales, horns, and more as you imagine your own dragon sculpture! Students will learn foundational sculpting techniques as they work with armature building and clay to create three-dimensional works of art.
PLANETARY PAINTINGS – WINTER CAMP - Grades K-2
Curious about stars, planets and comets? Students will examine relevant concepts in astronomy and cosmology inspiring them to create renderings of what they imagine beyond planet Earth.
ICE AGE SCULPTURES – WINTER CAMP- Grades K-2
Time travel with One River School back to the Ice Age! We will create 3D sculptures inspired by icons of the time, such as the Wooly Mammoth, Caribou, Wolves, Grizzly Bears and Sloths set amidst Interglacial Forests.
