National Children's Chorus directors will deliver a live-stream presentation via Zoom on Sunday, August 14th from 2:00-2:45 PM Pacific / 3:00-3:45 PM Mountain / 4:00-4:45 PM Central / 5:00-5:45 PM Eastern which will introduce students and parents to the educational programs of the NCC. The Grammy Award-winning National Children's Chorus provides children ages 5-17 the opportunity to develop their vocal skills from leading music educators. Tone quality, breath support, and musical expression are cultivated within the individual singers with in-person training in our chapter cities of Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Austin, Dallas and Boston, or during virtual classes for those outside of our chapters. Their training culminates in an exciting array of performances, from local concerts to celebrated national venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Walt Disney Concert Hall. NCC sudents will also have the exclusive opportunity to participate in annual international summer tours and our annual opera camp in Vail, Colorado. Following the video presentation on Sunday, applicants will then select an appointment time to meet with one of our conductors for a private video audition via Zoom for entry into the program beginning September 2022.
