Rock City® World Tour – Winter Session
Time: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Ages 4–6 (Younger campers considered on a case-by-case basis)
Rock City® World Tour introduces young campers to the exciting world of music through storytime, play-based learning, and hands-on instrument exploration. This fun, engaging camp is designed for preschoolers and early elementary students who are ready to begin their musical journey in a supportive, imaginative environment.
Throughout the week, children explore core musical concepts—like loud vs. soft, fast vs. slow, and high vs. low—each paired with a themed children’s story and a real musical instrument. Campers get to try a variety of instruments such as hand drums, recorders, percussion, chimes, and keyboards, allowing them to hear, feel, and create sound in age-appropriate ways.
Our instructors blend music, storytelling, and movement to keep campers active and engaged. Daily activities include rhythm games, dancing, interactive storytime, and group music-making that encourages creativity, confidence, and expression. In addition to building early musical foundations, Rock City helps young learners strengthen important early childhood skills like counting, pattern recognition, hand-eye coordination, listening, social interaction, and auditory awareness.
Families will enjoy seeing their child’s progress during a short end-of-week showcase, where campers get to share their favorite musical moments from the week.
