Spring School Break Camp at Jacob Burns Film Center

On the Set: Time to make a movie! Campers write, direct, film, and edit a short film in a professional environment. Working in a group, you’ll learn to pitch and develop ideas, storyboard, design light and sound, and edit with Adobe Premiere Pro. This filmmaking immersion is an opportunity to see a short project through from concept to completion. For campers in grades 5-6 & 7-8.

A typical day includes:
- 8:45 am: Drop-off
- 9:00 am: Filmmaking projects
- 10:45 am – 11:00 am: Snack and Break
- 12:00 pm: Lunch and play
- 12:45 pm: Filmmaking projects
- 2:30 pm – 2:45 pm: Snack and break
- 4:00 pm: Pickup
Location: JBFC's Media Arts Lab
Scholarships: Spaces are reserved in every session for those who demonstrate financial need.
