Where Did You Find That Rock? at Rye Nature Center

When school is closed for a day or a week, our workshops and vacation camps offer hands-on time outside and endless possibilities for adventure. Join us as we explore the local RNC quarry in search of mica, quartz, feldspar, and gneiss. Children will learn to identify rocks local to Rye and about some of the magnificent rocks found around the world.
