July 19 & 20, 11am–3pm: Blast off into lunar fun at the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium for International Moon Day on Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20. Celebrate the anniversary of the 1969 moon landing with hands-on activities that explore life beyond Earth. Build a Moon Phase Slider, design your own lunar Base Camp, and discover crater science through exciting simulations. Play the Hide and Seek Moon game, dive into a lunar-themed storybook, and experience the moon like never before with the 3D Science on a Sphere. It’s a celestial celebration perfect for curious kids and space-loving families—don’t miss this out-of-this-world weekend at the RMSC!
