Kehillah School for Early Learning at Temple Israel of New Rochelle promotes the development of young children from 6 weeks through kindergarten preparation, in a nurturing and stimulating play-based program that encourages creativity, decision-making, problem-solving skills, spiritual growth, and a joy of learning, infusing Jewish values and community for young students, using an emergent, Reggio Emilia approach to education. The kindergarten preschool program emphasizes child-guided classroom activities focused on engaging interests and exploration of topics. The curriculum includes cognitive development (math, pre-reading, social studies, science), motor development (fine motor, gross motor, selfhelp skills), social/emotional development, and language development. Children learn respect for others and their environment through collaborative teamwork.

Looking to ad bilingualism to your preschooler's skills? Our unique Italian-immersion preschool program, located in Scarsdale, NY, offers a literacy based curriculum rich in music, art, movement, and play. Our mission is to provide an Italian language and cultural experience in a full-immersion environment that fosters second language development in creative, fun, and innovative ways. Teachers are native speakers with experience in early childhood education. We offer a full day program from 9:15-2:00 pm Monday through Friday.
