All cooking can empower us by developing confidence, creativity, connection, and calm. In this 6 session, in-person, hands-on class, students learn techniques, recipes, tips, and tricks on cooking to create meals that are perfect for after school or a family dinner. Science, technology, arts, and math are incorporated into all classes. All food, equipment, and supplies are provided.

These hands-on, immersive experiences inspire and excite kids by using all of their senses while cooking. Students learn kitchen safety, knife skills, cooking techniques, choosing produce, reading a recipe, and table setting and etiquette.
As they learn to trust their intuition, they develop the skill of using recipes as a guide, not as a set of rules.
We aim to help students cultivate curiosity, confidence, creativity, and calm in the kitchen and collaborate and connect with peers through food.
