Pixel Art: A Digital Experience (ages 8 and up)

Pixel art uses a limited number of colors and resolutions, allowing students to challenge themselves against complicated concepts and ideas in an efficient way. These ideas can later be used (after the class is over) in the development of art for game creation (scratch), digital advertising, and mobile devices or used with some traditional art forms including counted-thread embroidery and beadwork.
