For kids age 8-11 interested in learning the skills it takes to survive and thrive in wild environments The Rewilding School is now offering Ranger Forest Weekends. This series of 5 classes will teach 5 basic skill to wilderness living; knife safety, fire craft, shelter building, edible plants, and stealth. In addition, participants will be able to attend an optional primitive overnight camping trip the with one parent in Harriman State Park from May 6th-7th.
This is a drop-off program and will require authorized adults to pickup
Cost: $115 for 5 classes
$150 for 2 people on the overnight. Space is limited to 8 people as per DEC regulations.
Location: Peace Through Play Nursery School, Chestnut Ridge, New York
Time: 2pm-4pm (except 2-3pm on April 29th)
Dates: April 1st, April 8th, April 15th, April 29th, May 13th
