Rye Y Camps are led by a team of full-time, qualified professional directors. The passionate and dedicated summer staff is selected for their strong character, maturity, enthusiasm and commitment to Y values and serve as Professional Role Models for campers. As an ACA accredited camp, we follow strict ratio policies based on camper’s ages. The Rye Y offers financial assistance to families who qualify.

Registration starts February 7 for members and February 28 for non-members.
 
Camps offered in Summer 2022:
Kinder - ages 3-6
Kinder Camp provides a warm, supportive environment in either a full or half day option.  Activities include swimming lessons, arts & crafts, sports, music and more. 
Discovery - ages 4-11
Discovery Camp is a full-day camp composed of groups based on grade completed in school. A packed week of sports, swim lessons, STEM, crafts, music, performing arts, and special guests keep our campers engaged and excited every day.

STEAM - ages 6-11
Experienced staff use innovative projects, hands on experimentation, group and individual activities, and guided discovery to assist campers in comprehending the natural and technological world.

Sports - ages 5-12
Sports Camp has both full day and half day options and is designed for sports enthusiasts who want to develop both their individual and team skills. A different sport is focused on each week and campers are divided into groups based on their age.
 
Gymnastics - ages 5-14
Beginner to advanced gymnasts are welcome in half or full day options. Drills, games, and teamwork are utilized to build gymnastics skills.  Campers will participate in Olympic events, tumble trak, mini trampoline, rope climb, and much more. 

Leaders in Training (LIT):  Youth who have completed grades 6-8
LIT’s will be coached through different tasks including activity planning, camper supervision and much more. LIT's earn community service hours as well as have an opportunity to be accepted earlier into the CIT program based on their performance. 

Counselors in Training (CIT):  Teens who have completed grades 9 or 10
CITs will participate in a number of activities that are aimed at building their own unique leadership skills; team building, values sessions, positive role modeling and problem solving. CITs will be coached through different tasks including activity planning, camper supervision and much more.
