ROBOTICS SEQUENCE
Our Young Engineers, Robot Academy, and Robot Academy Jr. classes feature four new LEGO engineering projects each month. Students can sign up again and again to take part in new builds and learn about different mechanisms. If you are a returning customer and your grade levels have been shifted slightly for virtual classes, please enroll your child in the course they were taking before the switch to virtual learning. For now, Mindstorms Fundamentals does not have a virtual follow-up. We are working on adapting our much-loved upper level classes to an online format.
GAME DESIGN SEQUENCE
INTRODUCTORY CLASSES
We encourage all students to enroll in the introductory course before advancing to higher levels, regardless of what previous in-person courses they have taken with TRG. This ensures everyone is competent in the new virtual learning technology we are using.
INTERMEDIATE CLASSES
After four weeks, students advance to the Intermediate level where there are new games monthly. The intermediate course is designed to be taken repeatedly, and students will tackle new challenges each month.
All Game Design classes focus on teaching programming with a fun, hands-on approach that keeps students engaged.
