After Hours in the Edge: for WP Teens in Gr. 9-12

As part of a citywide initiative to provide more evening activities for high schoolers, the Library is excited to announce the start of After Hours in the Edge. The Library's next Teen After Hours will be Friday, November 3 from 6-9pm for high school students who reside in the city of White Plains (no matter what school you go to!). Teens are invited to hangout, take part in an open mic, play board games and video games, and do some arts and crafts. Plus, snacks!
After Hours in the Edge is a special event, when the Library is not open to the general public, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. In addition, it is only for White Plains residents in grades 9-12.
Teens are invited to just come hang out, or take part in one of a number of activities that will change from month to month, such as karaoke, video games, a photobooth, crafts, and more. AND, there will be free food and refreshments.

The Edge's Ten Year Edge-versary and Homecoming Celebration!
It's hard to believe, but the the Library's teen area, The Edge, is celebrating 10 years open this December. Our December After Hours event on Friday, December 1 will be open to ALL Edge patrons (grades 7-12). In addition, we'd like to spread the word to former Edge users to return for an Edge Homecoming and take part in the festivities. It will be a fun evening of memories, stories, games, jewelry making, and ice cream!
