August Puppet Weekend at Stepping Stones Museum for Children
Puppet Weekends invite families to discover the magic of puppetry every second weekend of the month. Enjoy engaging, original puppet shows produced by our in-house Puppet Lab – Out of a Box Puppetry – where a variety of stories come to life through different puppetry styles, whimsical characters and imaginative worlds. Beyond the show, explore how puppets work and learn the art behind the storytelling, deepening your connection to this timeless form of performance.

The Great Big Puppet Circus

Puppets tall, puppets small—this is a show for all! Created by our very own Puppet Lab using a variety of recycled materials, The Great Big Puppet Circus is a whimsical spectacle bursting with puppets of every shape and size. A giraffe ballet, a juggling whale, a giant monkeying monkey—even lion dentistry—come together for a larger-than-life theatrical adventure the whole family will love.
