SESSION 2 - Lost City
(July 6 - July 17)
In this hands-on adventure, campers become architects, engineers, and inventors as they design and build a spectacular Lost City inspired by the Aztec, Maya, and Incan worlds. From towering temples to secret passageways, every day unlocks a new part of the city. Campers also explore ancient innovations—including one of the world’s greatest inventions: chocolate!
Run by Hudson Lab School, Camp Hudson is a summer day camp for campers ranging from Grades K-5. Camp Hudson’s purpose is to instill a love of learning, inspire creativity, and teach children the design thinking process. At Camp Hudson, we immerse ourselves in the design thinking and innovation process to solve challenges that fuel the passion and potential of young learners. Children split their days Tinkering, Making and connecting with nature. Each camp week has a unique theme and we construct projects inspired by the theme. Near the end of each session, we celebrate campers’ work and learning by making it visible during exhibition. Our goal is to foster each child’s confidence that their skills at designing, making, revising, and problem-solving are unlimited—just like their imaginations.
