Creative movement provides a joyful, safe, and artistic environment combining modern dance, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop; participants will develop dancing skills and learn how to express themselves through dance.

Creative movement provides a joyful, safe, and artistic environment to develop musicality and trigger imagination and exploration as individual dancers.
Combining modern dance, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop, participants will develop dancing skills and learn how to express themselves through dance.
The curriculum is based on teaching the “whole child” supported by implementing social-emotional learning. In addition, much attention is given to teaching and learning through culturally responsive practices.
Students will feel valued and challenged as dancers and encouraged to create works that reflect who they are as we explore social and cultural dances.
