Day of the Horseshoe Crabs! - Marshlands Conservancy
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 06/11/2022
Atlantic horseshoe crabs arrive at Marshlands’ shoreline to mate and lay their eggs during high tides from May through June. This morning’s high tide can offer us a chance to watch these ancient creatures continue their seasonal ritual. It's a ritual that has been taking place for thousands of years along the east coast. Wear waterproof footwear and meet at the nature center; weather permitting
