Write your own comic book with the help of renowned graphic novel author Mike Dawson.
Tell stories using pictures, and understand how a cartoonist must control the reader's eye as it moves across the page.
Warm up with doodles before you write short comics, design your own characters, and understand the different ways words and pictures interact to tell stories.
Each participant will receive an exclusive workbook filled with drawing and cartooning exercises. At the end of the event, each will have their own comic book to take home with them.
Mike Dawson is the author of the recently published The Hidden Dominion of Geordie James, The Fifth Quarter and Freddie and Me.
