February 20th-23rd Grade K - 5 @ 9:30-11:30, Grades 6 & Up @ 12:00-2:00 Come spend time on the farm and learn more about horses! Learn how horses communicate, about their health care, their muscles and skeleton, and how to train them.

Grade K -5 @ 9:30 - 11:30 Classes

 

Horse Communication 101, Feb 20

Quick turn of the ear, swish of the tail. 101 Introduction to how horses interact with each other and their humans

Health Care 101, Feb 21

How do you know if a horse has a fever? Do horses only eat hay and grass?
Learn the answers to these and many more questions you may have on keeping your horse healthy.

Muscles in Motion 101, Feb 22

Come and paint some muscles on our equine friends! Sure to be a fun way to learn!

Training 101, Feb 23

Our horses weren’t born with saddles on their backs! We will look into different training techniques focused on the ground.

Did you know horses have preferences? Let’s take a closer look at communication and how we can improve our relationships with our equine partners

Health Care 201, Feb 21

Blemish or unsoundness? Come find out ! Learn how to treat a series of injuries

Muscles in Motion, 201, Feb 22

Did you know both horses and humans have more in common than meets the eye? Come watch our Horses and see what the skeleton muscles are really doing

Training 201, Feb 23

Balloons, water, noise makers, tarps and much more. Come find out what the horses like or don't like!

 

**Weather permitting, each student will also get to go for a ride!**

 

University costs: $90/Class or $340/week These classes are inclusive for ALL populations Maximum of 6 participants/Class
