Adventure Boat Camp introduces young people to the natural wonders of the Hudson River, builds their boating skills, and gives them a taste of adventure. Our captains have decades of experience, weaving together a deep knowledge of local history and ecology, a breadth of maritime experience and a passion for connecting kids to the outdoors. Camp is a student lead, hands-on, learning expedition. In just one week, our campers gain first hand experience with boating traditions used over the past thousand years. Boat technology, navigational techniques, and ecological connections changed through time, and Adventure Boat Camp curriculum follows this historical progression. Teamwork, empowerment, environmental responsibility, and personal safety are all baked into each day.
