JUNIOR KEEPERS: SEA LIONS - Queens Zoo (Grades 3-5)

Ever wonder what it takes to care for marine mammals at the Queens Zoo? Roll up your sleeves as we dive and learn all about sea lion anatomy, nutrition and their unique behaviors through behind-the-scenes looks with our animal care staff, ethogram studies, and the opportunity to deliver a special treat to one of our exhibit animals.
Get ready to put your animal skills to the test as we learn about the Queens Zoo’s residents through up-close animal encounters, behind-the-scenes looks with our animal care team, and hands-on activities. This is a drop off program. Participants will meet small ambassador animals during the program. Participants will not have direct contact with exhibit animals.
