Kuchipudi With Aswathi started in August 2021, inspiring and training students in the ancient dance style of Kuchipudi. As one of the eight major styles of Indian classical dance, Kuchipudi is a dance-drama art form that was performed as early as the 10th century. Fulfilling a passion since she started training in Kuchipudi when she was six years old and teaching Kuchipudi since 2011, all classes and workshops are taught by Guru Aswathi Arun in her beautiful studio in Purchase, NY.
Students as young as 3 years of age are eligible for enrollment! Not sure? Try a free trial class for fun! Registered students should commit to a least one class per week and have the option to attend in-person or virtual. All classes are 1 hour.
