The Levitt Pavilion® produces one of the largest and longest-running outdoor performing arts series in the nation, including its signature “50 Free Shows under the Stars” - over fifty shows presented free-of-charge; and its “Stars on Tour” series (paid-ticket events). The Levitt Pavilion presents acclaimed and award-winning artists, GRAMMY-winners and nominees, rising stars, local favorites, and international touring sensations. Programming includes music, dance, comedy, film, circus, a dedicated series for children… and so much more - ensuring there’s something for all ages and tastes! Established in 1973, the Levitt Pavilion in Connecticut remains an independent and unique 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. The Levitt Pavilion’s on-site presentations take place at its iconic outdoor home - a soaring amphitheater on the banks of the Saugatuck River in Downtown Westport - from Spring through Fall, welcoming 70,000+ patrons each year. The Levitt Pavilion produces spectacular concerts and special events and series throughout the year, on-site and off.

With a Season that runs through October and a rolling line-up of show announcements, the Levitt Pavilion - an independent and unique not-for-profit arts presenter - continues to produce one of the longest-running outdoor performing arts series in the nation in its iconic amphitheater home in downtown Westport, Connecticut.  Both its free-ticket and paid-ticket programming series feature acclaimed as well as emerging artists across multiple genres. Programming includes a variety of performing arts - music, dance, comedy, and of course the Children’s Series.

Reminder: For Free Shows - Patrons can make plans ahead of time and reserve free ticket(s) in advance to guarantee a spot on the Lawn - or - they can be spontaneous and visit Box Office day of show (open 2 hours before show-time). Whenever there is space available, patrons will be admitted into free shows - and whenever there are unused/returned free tickets, they are redistributed on the day of show!

Levitt Pavilion® Children’s Series : Eleven (11) Outdoor Concerts for Children and Families Presented FREE-OF-CHARGE; Featuring award-winning and acclaimed artists in Children’s Music; Select Tuesdays and Wednesdays in June, July and August; Pre-show activations include giveaways and “Touch-A-Truck” Experience!  A celebrated pillar of its 51st Season under the Stars, the Children's Series launches on June 11 and running through August 19, delivers a non-stop slate of GRAMMY® Award-winning and -nominated artists light up the Epstein Stage at the Levitt Pavilion with concerts and fun for children and their families. 

The GRAMMY-laden Series Line-Up launches with Divi Roxx Kids ft 2x Grammy Award nominated Divinity Roxx (6/11) and continues with 3x Grammy-nominated Brady Rymer & The Little Band That Could (6/18), The Hall Family ft Parents’ Choice Award Winner Emily Rabon Hall (6/25); Parents’ Choice Award Winner Elena Moon Park (7/1), GRAMMY Award Winner Joanie Leeds (7/9), real-life NYC Park Ranger Hopalong Andrew (7/15), Grammy Nominated Fyütch & Aura V (7/23), Latin GRAMMY® nominee Flor Bromley (7/30), GRAMMY Winner Danny Weinkauf & his Red Pants Band (8/6), breakout stars Miss Tutti & the Fruity Band (8/13), and The Dirty Sock Fun Time Band celebrating their 20th anniversary (8/19) while anchoring the Children’s Series finale which is both an annual  Special Needs Community Celebration and “Back-to-School” Spectacular.

Pre-show activations vary and range from Sponsor Give-Away Tables to face-painting, and - new for 2025: The Touch-A-Truck Experience! On select dates throughout the Children's Series, Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital is on site with a specialty ambulance, offering families and children a chance to explore the vehicle and specialized equipment used when transporting children and infants. Children are welcome to visit Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital’s table next to the truck to enjoy a giveaway*! Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Touch-A-Truck Experience Dates: Wednesday, June 25, Wednesday, July 9, Wednesday, August 6, and Tuesday, August 19. *all giveaways based on limited supplies. 

An Ice Cream Truck - either College Creamery or Skip’s Ice Cream Truck - is on site at each Children’s Show.  And as always, for free shows, patrons are welcome to picnic on the lawn, enjoy the Saugatuck River breezes, and bring in outside food and drink. 

Children have an opportunity to engage with the arts, nature and each other - and themselves! The Levitt Pavilion Children’s Series is more than a concert series - it’s a chance to play, to make new friends, and to discover new sounds and stories.

Divinity’s career as a bass player skyrocketed after touring with 5-time Grammy Award-winning bass virtuoso, Victor Wooten. 3x GRAMMY-nominated Brady Rymer has been making infectious, high-energy rock ‘n’ roll music for kids and families for nearly 25 years. A champion of neurodiversity acceptance, Brady regularly performs sensory-friendly shows for audiences with autism and special needs, including songs from his groundbreaking 2011 album Love Me For Who I Am. When he’s not playing with the Little Band That Could, Brady plays bass guitar with his “grown-up” jam band From Good Homes, and has toured with acts including Dave Matthews Band, Hootie & the Blowfish, Bob Weir’s Ratdog, and Bob Dylan.

Join Korean-American musician Elena Moon Park and her friends on a journey through song performing children's music from East and Southeast Asia - from northern Japanese sea shanties to Tibetan jump rope rhymes, joyous Korean harvest sing-alongs, Taiwanese train songs, and much more. Expect to dance and sing along in many different languages on this “unhurried journey” to the other side of the world! Elena Moon Park is a co-director of the Brooklyn-based arts organization Found Sound Nation, which uses collaborative music creation to connect people across cultural divides, including the global music exchange program OneBeat, bringing together artists from around the globe for the co-creation of original works and the incubation of civically-engaged music and art projects. ​Her Rabbit Days and Dumplings album received a Parent's Choice Award and a feature on NPR's All Things Considered.

Hopalong Andrew is a folk and western music artist who performs original and traditional cowboy-themed music. His recordings include his multi-award-winning debut album “Howdy Do!” which celebrates city life and its inspirational “can-do spirit.” His latest release honors the incredible-but-true diverse and multicultural heritage of the American West of yesterday and today. The New York-born Hopalong Andrew first experimented with “urban cowboy” music when he was a NYC Park Ranger in Central Park, where wrote songs about wildlife and history. It was here that he envisioned a whimsical project where a cowboy could marvel at New York City.

Flor Bromley is a Latin GRAMMY® nominee singer/songwriter for families. Originally from Peru, she dedicates her life to creating music for kids that elevates Latin culture, making it her mission to share her bilingual experience with a new generation. She is a professionally trained musical theatre actress who uses global rhythms, the power of storytelling, and puppetry to engage audiences of all backgrounds and ages. Flor has released 4 bilingual family albums and songs have been featured and played on the top 13 of Sirius XM’s Kids Place Live and PBS WNET Thirteen TV program “Let’s Learn.” Her album “Fiesta Global” was named an official selection of notable works for children by the American Library Association. “Pachamama” her album tribute to Mother Earth and her origin roots was awarded a National Parenting Product Award (NAPPA), and her song “The Ocean”, a collaboration with Laurie Berkner, was a USA songwriting competition finalist. Her latest album “Aventuras” earned a nomination as Best Latin Music Album For Children by The Latin Recording Academy. Her song “Dreamland” is a 2024 Award Finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.

Wednesday: August 6: Danny Weinkauf & his Red Pants Band

Longtime bassist for They Might Be Giants, GRAMMY-winning Danny Weinkauf, along with his award-winning Red Pants Band, brings his rollicking, family-friendly tunes back to the Epstein Stage at the Levitt Pavilion! This performance is guaranteed to get kids dancing and singing along to clever songs from his new albums, ranging from "Dinosaurs on Roller Skates" to "Your Love is a Metaphor." In addition to his composition work, Danny records and tours with the multi GRAMMY winning/platinum selling band They Might Be Giants. His work with TMBG includes writing songs for their children's albums No!, Here Come the 1,2,3s, Here Come's Science, and WHY? (all RIAA Gold certified) and the hit song "I am a Paleontologist".  Danny has also worked as a Pediatric Physical therapist with special needs children for 20+ yrs.

Co-produced by music educator Gracie Nash and 2-time GRAMMY/TONY Award winner Charlie Rosen, Miss Tutti and The Fruity Band is a musical project celebrating themes of confidence, inclusivity, and LGBTQ+ representation for kids and families of all-ages. Their debut release Confidence Juice is a bright and joyful album with upbeat retro-pop tunes that proudly celebrate the unique qualities that make us who we are. The band is made up of thriving New York City musicians and educators including Emma Jayne (The Tonight Show, Emmy Nominee), Laura Dadap (Nickelodeon), Dan Corica (Theatreworks), Olivia Griffin (Little Shop of Horrors) and Scott Still (NY Pops). Think Mr. Rogers meets The Monkees! Get ready to sing and dance along with a band of gorgeous, diverse musicians talking about loving yourself & your individuality!

The Dirty Sock Funtime Band (DSFB) returns to the Levitt Pavilion's Epstein Stage to celebrate the Children's Series Finale and make it a HUGE special needs community celebration and back-to-school send-off spectacular! Take part in this wild, musical comedy show where anything can happen and everyone is celebrated for who they are! Join the adventures of rock n’ roll best buds Mike and Stephen, their band, The Dirty Socks, and a pink-haired sidekick, as they take on kid-sized challenges with big-sized imaginations. Mainstays on Nick Jr. and PBS, the DSFB is celebrating 20 years of entertaining families across the world with live-action comedy, animated videos, puppetry and singalongs. A new tradition established in 2021, this edition of the Levitt Pavilion Children’s Series is presented by Westport's very own "Nate & Eve Presents", and is a celebration for and in honor of our special needs community. As always, everyone of all ages and abilities is invited to the Levitt Pavilion for singing, dancing, and fun!
