A Sunday in mid-May, in a garden as deeply loved as Wave Hill, is the perfect setting for celebrating Mom: think birding, perhaps a plein-air session of yoga, a visit to the Family Art Project and a superb brunch in historic Armor Hall. Finish the visit on a Family Nature Walk, and a stop in The Shop to admire Jennifer Longworth's art jewelry.
Provided by Wave Hill exclusive caterer Great Performances, brunch seatings take place at 10:30AM and 1PM in Armor Hall. $50/$45 Wave Hill Member, excluding tax, gratuity and admission to the grounds. Children $35/$31.50 for each Member child. Check out the menu and then make your reservation by emailing wavehillreservations@greatperformances.com, or calling 718.549.3200 x395, by noon, Wednesday, May 9. A valid Wave Hill Member number is required to reserve at Member prices. Reservations will not be held without payment, and payment will not be accepted on Mother’s Day.
For an outdoor option, enjoy the rare opportunity to picnic on the Conifer Slope just north of Wave Hill House. Bring your own lunch, or pre-order a gourmet, boxed lunch from The Café. Check out the menu—prices vary—and be sure to place your order by Wednesday, May 9.
