Opening Day of the Physics Lab at Westchester Children's Museum
Our newest exhibit gives visitors the chance to explore concepts of force, speed, motion, inertia, and gravity. The Physics Lab at the Fierstein Family Gallery features one of a kind exhibits including Ball Launch - where you will test your aim by experimenting with velocity and angles to hit the target bells & spinners.
The Physics Lab is made possible through a contribution from the Fierstein Family.

The centerpiece of the Physics Lab is Micah’s Gravitram, an endless, interlocking maze of tracks, ramps, corkscrew turns, springs, and racing balls. The name Gravitram is derived from two words: GRAVity and TRAMway. A Gravitram is a kinetic art sculpture that involves moving parts meant to be visually engaging and even mesmerizing.
