Reducing Wasted Food at Home

*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 09/23/2020
Late summer and fall are times of abundant fresh produce, but how are you going to preserve only the foods you like and reduce food waste all year long?

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Join us online for a free food preservation class, taught by Master Food Preserver Michele Conners from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County. Michele will provide an overview, with ideas and methods for filling your pantry with home preserved products that you can enjoy year-round. This workshop promises to be highly interactive, and attendees are encouraged to participate in the online conversation!

Registration for the workshop is required in order to receive the invite to the Zoom meeting. Visit the link below to get started!
