Science Sunday: Mineral Marvels

Stop by the Bruce Museum and learn about our science exhibitions. Every other Sunday families will be able to come and get interactive with science through hands-on activities to different challenges that vary in science topics from 1-3 pm.

Budding young scientists who come to this Science Sunday will be in for a treat! If you have ever wanted to do a deep dive in mineral observations this is the Science Sunday for you. Children ages 4 and older will be able to go through several series of tests such as weighing a mineral, using the Mohs hardness scale, looking at surface level properties like color, transparency, and luster, to learn more about minerals.
