For one show only, Cherish the Ladies and Daisy Jopling will bring their musical talents together to perform at the Paramount Hudson Valley for an extraordinary afternoon of Irish Music! The Grammy Award nominated Irish American supergroup Cherish the Ladies formed to celebrate the rise of extraordinary women in what had been a male-dominated Celtic music scene. Celebrating their 40th anniversary, they have shared timeless Irish traditions and good cheer with audiences worldwide with their exhilarating mix of traditional Irish music, stunning vocals, and propulsive step dancing! Violinist Daisy Jopling has collaborated with superstars worldwide, including Bobby McFerrin and Rob Evan from the US, Hollywood’s Hans Zimmer, India’s Shubha Mudgal, Cuba’s Omara Portuondo, Africa’s Oliver Mtukutsi, Austria’s Joe Zawinul, Wolfgang Muthspiel and Julian Rachlin, The Netherland’s Janine Jansen, Russia’s Boris Grebenshikov and London’s Tony Award Winning director Tom Morris. She has composed music for various ensembles which has been performed on television and in major concert halls worldwide, She was the first international violinist to perform a major concert at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt collaborating with Egyptian stars, and her Solo work has included playing a concerto at the Royal Albert Hall in London at the age of 14 and playing twice before 30,000 people at the opening of the Vienna Festival.
