Girls Innovate the Future.
The Institute for Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE) introduces girls ages 11-14 to the key tenets of the Miss Porter’s School learning environment, which are interdisciplinary in nature and global in scope. Girls learn beyond the classroom by conducting field research, interacting with leaders in their respective fields, and developing skills through real world application and hands-on experience.
TIE offers two unique week-long sessions that prepare campers to become global citizens in a technology-driven society. Girls explore the concept of human-centered design thinking as a framework for problem solving before implementing this framework through a series of technological challenges, business practices, and design projects. Campers also gain hands-on experiences designed to bridge the fields of technology, art, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Each week-long session is $1750 for overnight campers and $1350 for day campers.
