Torah Making Workshop
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 05/17/2015
A hands-on look at how a Torah is made! In this fascinating workshop, children learn how raw animal hides are made into parchment. Sand and buff the dried parchment and prepare it for writing. Learn to make special "dyo" ink and use an old-fashioned quill made from a whittled goose feather to practice writing.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
