AMNH Presents: Meet the Scientist: Ben Titus
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/02/2019
Few movies have captured the popular imagination about the ocean more than Finding Nemo, but did you know there are over 30 different species of clownfish that live with 10 species of sea anemones? How do clownfish find their homes? How many different homes do clownfish really have? How do clownfish and their sea anemone hosts protect each other? Join Dr. Benjamin Titus, a postdoctoral research fellow in the Division of Invertebrate Zoology at AMNH, to explore the unknown aspects of the clownfish-sea anemone symbiosis that you didn’t learn from Finding Nemo.
