Winter Break Out Day: How's it Made?
*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 02/16/2015
Explore how some of our favorite things in nature are made. Visit the Maple Sugar House and see how our maple syrup operation is doing this winter and learn how bees make honey in the warmer weather (and taste some too!).
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Dissect an owl pellet to learn about owl digestion and discover how to make fire with a bow drill.
Self-guided make-and-take crafts and a make-your-own ice cream sundae bar at 2:30 pm will round out the day.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
