Appropriate for students 7 to 12 years old. Limited space available. Join us for a hands-on, integrated technology camp where participants get to design their own video games and see them come to life using one of the most beloved forms of filmmaking: Stop Motion Animation! Campers will work together in small production groups to design ideas for original video games and will create prototypes using a variety of materials and art making processes. Next, they will film animated player tutorials bringing their games to life using stop motion animation and our professional setup which includes: DSLR cameras, MacBook Laptops and professional grade software “DragonFrame”. Finally, we will get a chance to film the directors themselves during a “pixilation” exercise (the animation of living subjects)!
Finished films will be edited together with sound and music into one amazing collaborative work of art which will be sent to families via online link. Visitors to the link may view, download and share the film again and again. ![]() |
